David Gardner - President
David is the Co-Founder and President of Val Verde Minerals, LLC. Over more than 35 years, Mr. Gardner has been involved in upstream projects that include large producing property acquisitions (Gulf of Mexico Shelf, West Texas, and South Texas), exploration and drilling transactions (West Texas, South Texas, Appalachia and US Rockies), and significant mineral and royalty programs throughout the US. These transactions and others total to more than $2 Billion. Mr. Gardner serves on several boards and committees in Houston, Texas and is a member of the Houston Producers Forum. Mr. Gardner received a Bachelors of Science degree from the University of Texas (Austin).
Vernon Henry - VP, Land & Business Development
Vernon is the Co-Founder and Vice President of Business Development and Land at Val Verde Minerals, LLC. Additionally, Vernon is Vice President of Land at Gardner Energy. Vernon has been involved in the acquisition and operations of oil and gas properties for over 12 years. Prior to joining Val Verde Minerals and Gardner Energy, Vernon worked in the Business Development group at Apache Corporation, completing multi-billion dollar transactions internationally and domestically, both onshore and offshore. Vernon has a Masters in Business Administrations from Rice University Jones Graduate School of Business, as well as a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Larysa Polunin - Manager, Land & Business Development
Larysa is an industry expert with a robust background in upstream oil and gas, and is the Manager of Business Development and Land at Val Verde Minerals, LLC and Gardner Energy Corporation. Larysa has over 12 years of experience in E&P acquisitions and divestitures, full cycle asset management, asset enhancement and integration, due diligence, contract negotiations and operations support. Larysa has a Master in Energy, Environment and Natural Resource Law degree from the University of Houston, United States; a Master in Business Administration from the IE Business School, Spain; and a Bachelor of Commerce in Petroleum Land Management from the University of Calgary, Canada.
Robert Gardner - Land Advisor
Robert is an experienced landman with 5 years of experience in working through complex title and division of interest related issues. Robert has worked with the Val Verde team for 4 years. He holds a Bachelors in Science from Texas Tech University.
